The virtual meet-up to discuss this book is on Friday 13th September, 6.30pm BST. Information is here on the event and registering for a place. If you would like to come along just send me a message:
My relationship with The Farm Table is a lesson (to myself) in not judging a book by its cover. Or rather: not judging a book by the sheer ginormous scale of the author's social media buzz.
Because I confess that before actually picking up The Farm Table I was a little sceptical about Julius Roberts. I knew that he was a huge hit on the socials; posting, cooking and farming from his smallholding idyll. It says nothing good about me whatsoever that I had too-quickly filed him and his work under ‘not for me’. ‘More fool me’ is closer to the truth.
Read on for more on how I fell for this book and its author, sample recipes - and details on our virtual meet-up to share thoughts and food from September’s cookbook club pick: The Farm Table by Julius Roberts.
